LaGrange College Music prepares aspiring young artists for dynamic careers in our rapidly changing musical landscape. Whether your goal is to perform on concert or theatrical stages, write and produce music, work in church ministry, maintain a private studio, or teach in the classroom, our Music Program offers you the musical foundation, technological skills, and collaborative experiential learning necessary for artistic success in the 21st century. 

 

 

Hone Your Skills 

* Train with working professionals in our new music facility featuring a state-of-the-art recording studio, TV studio, production suites and spacious rehearsal and performances areas.

* Engage in creative collaborative projects with fellow students from all areas of the Fine & Performing Arts:  Music, Musical Theatre, Theatre Arts, Digital Creative Media & Film, Art.

* Study abroad in one of our Interim Travel courses:  Recent journeys examined music history in Prague, Vienna and Venice; focused on Broadway and Opera in New York City; and explored the music of Ireland – in Ireland. Incoming freshmen receive a travel voucher to apply towards one study-abroad trip during their Junior or Senior year.

* Apply for an Undergraduate Research grant up to $500 to help fund your own creative project.

* Compete on the state, regional and national levels.

* Pursue an internship with numerous music businesses to gain professional experience.

* Perform in a variety of venues and stages: Beason Recital Hall, Callaway Auditorium, Price Theater, Price Theater Lab, Pure Life Studios.
